Eighteen Aboriginal leaders from across the Territory addressed the highest level of Government at a special Cabinet meeting on Tuesday 31 October 2023.

Maningrida’s very own Fabian Smith from Malala Health Services, was awarded Runner Up in the Remote Aboriginal Health Worker category of the Northern Territory Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker and Practitioner Excellence Awards.

The Jabiru Public Library symbolises a lifelong commitment to literacy in West Arnhem Land, and, thanks to the Street Library initiative, we have been able to take another positive step towards  making literacy more accessible to our most remote communities!
