Library Services & Languages
West Arnhem Regional Council delivers public library and information services, including a wide range of resources and up-to-date technology, which are free to all permanent residents. Proudly featuring the ‘Kakadu Collection’, our Library aims to provide a culture-rich environment with resources in all formats which focus on the Kakadu and West Arnhem region. Our services also support local community groups by providing a creative space and learning and recreational activities to connect to our community.
The Library is now proudly home to TEABBA Radio Jabiru on 98.9fm - Jabiru's first radio station. A Street Library is also stationed at the Jabiru Swimming Pool and can be accessed by the public at any time.
Jabiru Public Library provides:

In 2022, TEABBA Radio launched the first Jabiru transmission of TEABBA radio based out of the Jabiru Library. Tune into 98.9fm to listen to this radio station.
