West Arnhem welcomes new Australian citizens

West Arnhem Regional Council proudly welcomed three new Australian citizens, Zenicia Araujo Lobo, Sachithra Fernando, and Isuru Marakkala Manage, who made their official pledge of commitment on Friday, 16 May 2025.
In a heartfelt ceremony held in Jabiru, the new citizens took their pledge before Presiding Officer Mayor James Woods and were presented with their certificates, surrounded by family and friends.
On behalf of the Council, Mayor Woods warmly congratulated the new citizens and wished them every success in their future endeavours.
