West Arnhem Regional Council welcomes new Elected Member

West Arnhem Regional Council has officially welcomed Ms Tamar Nawirridj as the newest Elected Member, representing the Gunbalanya Ward.

Cr Nawirridj was sworn in during the Ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday, 18 February 2025, where she read aloud and signed the Declaration of Office.

Mayor James Woods and fellow Elected Members warmly congratulated Cr Nawirridj on her appointment, expressing their excitement about working together for the Council and Communities of West Arnhem.
