Statement from West Arnhem Regional Council

West Arnhem Regional Council and our communities extend our deepest condolences to the family, loved ones and the broader community of Kumanjayi Little Baby.

This is a heartbreaking tragedy that has deeply affected many people. 

We acknowledge and sincerely thank everyone involved in the extensive search efforts over recent days. This includes authorities, emergency services personnel, and the many volunteers who gave their time and energy, holding hope in their hearts throughout the search.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those grieving during this incredibly difficult time.
