Removing scrap metals from Maningrida Landfill

Maningrida hosted Sell & Parker for the last week to work on removing some of the scrap metal from Community. Sell & Parker managed to crush and remove more than 200 cars from Maningrida Landfill. 
West Arnhem Regional Council are looking forward to seeing them back in community in 2025 to continue work on removing more of the scrap metal in Maningrida. 
This metal is taken for recycling which sees olde cars shredded, melted down and turned into multiple things including parts for new cars! 
If you have a car body you would like removed by Council, please get in contact with your Council office to arrange collection.
