Region-wide basketball program roll out

JLP Basketball is hitting the road and heading into our communities, bringing a fun and active program of basketball and dodgeball for people of all ages.
The program is designed to get kids, youth and adults involved, whether you’re picking up a ball for the first time or keen to sharpen your skills. 
Across each visit, JLP Basketball will deliver kids’ afterschool sessions, learn-to-coach activities and drills for all ages, adults’ mini competitions, and in-school sessions to engage students during the school day.
The first stops on the tour will be Jabiru and Maningrida, with Jabiru hosting sessions from Monday 2 to Thursday 5 February, followed by Maningrida from Monday 9 to Thursday 12 February. 
The program will then continue across the region, visiting Gunbalanya from Monday 16 to Thursday 19 February, before heading to Warruwi and Minjilang from Monday 23 to Wednesday 25 February.
These sessions are all about building skills, confidence and connection through sport, while creating a positive and inclusive space for community members to come together.
