PUBLIC NOTICE - Dingoes sighted in Jabiru township

Residents and visitors are advised that dingoes/wild dogs have recently been sighted within the Jabiru township area.

In response, West Arnhem Regional Council (WARC) has deployed a number of humane, non-toxic traps designed to safely capture animals without causing harm. These efforts are being carried out in partnership with Kakadu National Parks, with the goal of relocating the animals.

For your safety and the welfare of the animals, please do not interfere with any traps or attempt to approach or handle wildlife. The traps are monitored daily, seven days a week.
