New Councillor Elected for Warruwi Ward

West Arnhem Regional Council congratulates Geraldine Narul on her election as the new Councillor for the Warruwi Ward.

Cr Narul’s appointment, announced today by the Northern Territory Electoral Commission, follows the 2026 Local Government By-election held in July.

Cr Narul brings valuable local knowledge and a strong connection to community and culture to her role on Council. 

As a previous Warruwi Local Authority member, she has experience in local leadership and a strong understanding of community priorities. Her leadership will help strengthen the voice of the Warruwi Ward and support positive outcomes for communities across the West Arnhem region.

Council warmly welcomes Cr Narul and looks forward to her contribution to West Arnhem Regional Council.
