Major projects underway across West Arnhem

West Arnhem Regional Council have been busy the last few months, hard at work improving the infrastructure across our Communities, making sure there’s something for everyone!
With the new resurfaced roads in Maningrida, Warruwi and Gunbalanya, it was brilliant to get assistance from the NTG to help ensure the safety of all roads. Thank you!
Alternative access gates at the Maningrida Airport have also been installed for sorry business.
In Minjilang, we are thrilled the Crèche has reopened, following extensive roof and interior repairs. The crèche is an important part of the Minjilang Community which supports local families.

In Maningrida, groundwork has started for the construction of the much-anticipated oval changerooms. This major project, funded by NIAA, will be a game changer for all sport and recreation in the Community.
And the Warruwi Recreation Hall re-roof is underway, and we can’t wait to see the work completed.
