Local Authority supports access to homes

West Arnhem Regional Council has been improving accessibility for local residents in Gunbalanya!
The initiative, funded by the Gunbalanya Local Authority and supported by the West Arnhem Regional Council, has seen paving pathways installed at a number of Aged Care and NDIS client houses throughout the community. 
Contractors have worked hard to get as many paths complete prior to local roads closing for the wet season.
The new paving paths are a significant improvement, especially as the wet season approaches. They will provide safer and more reliable access to homes, particularly benefiting residents who rely on wheelchairs.
