Local Authority Meetings next week

West Arnhem Regional Council will hold the second round of Local Authority meetings for 2026 next week in Maningrida, Minjilang, Warruwi and Gunbalanya.
Local Authorities play a vital role in supporting Council decision-making at a local level. They provide advice and recommendations to Council on a range of important matters including community services, infrastructure projects, local activities and the allocation of Local Authority funding.
The meetings allow community members to raise issues that matter most to them and help guide how Council delivers services and invests in each community.
Community members and stakeholders are warmly encouraged to attend and be part of the conversation.
