The Local Authorities in the West Arnhem region are set to hold their first round of meetings next week, providing an important opportunity for community engagement and decision-making.
Local Authorities play a vital role in ensuring that residents of Maningrida, Minjilang, Warruwi, and Gunbalanya have a direct voice in how Council services are delivered and how funds are allocated within their communities. These meetings provide a platform for community members to discuss local priorities, share concerns, and collaborate on initiatives that benefit their regions.
Community members and stakeholders are encouraged to attend these meetings to stay informed and contribute to discussions. The meetings are held four times a year for each Local Authority, ensuring regular opportunities for community input. Residents can access meeting agendas and minutes through the West Arnhem Regional Council’s website.
