Kakadu Aged Care team celebrated at graduation
West Arnhem Regional Council recently celebrated the accomplishments of the Community Care team in Kakadu as they graduated from the Certificate IV in Community Services. The graduation ceremony was held at the Jabiru Library where Marcia Brennan, Karen Bulliwana and Rosie Woods received their certificates. Their trainer, Poppy Reece, together with their managers and fellow colleagues share a great moment to celebrate this achievement.
Council Services Manager Dana Hewett expressed pride in the team's dedication and efforts over the past 18 months.
“This is a significant accomplishment for the team and their extended knowledge will be of great value to the participants in our Kakadu Community Care program”.
Sally Morris, Director at Response Employment and Training, the organisation that delivered the training program, expressed that “it has been a pleasure working with the Jabiru aged care team and watching them grow in their roles. They were very welcoming, and we enjoyed working alongside of them through their training. Their dedication to the development of their skills have greatly benefited the local aging community and we wish them all the best in their future development”.
The Council is very proud of our graduates and is extremely happy to have played an important part in their current and future career successes. Congratulations!
