Gunbalanya Aged Care outing to Jabiru

Clients from Aged Care in Gunbalanya enjoyed a special outing activity across the river recently. 
The day began with breakfast at Cahills Crossing, followed by a relaxing walk around the lake in Jabiru. The group then enjoyed lunch at the Marrawuddi Arts & Culture Gallery, providing an opportunity to socialise, explore the local art and culture, and spend quality time together.
The outing was coordinated and facilitated by the Gunbalanya Community Care Team, led by Team Leader Tracey, whose dedication ensured the day was both enjoyable and meaningful for all participants.
As these community outings play an important role in promoting social connection, wellbeing, and active ageing, and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the experience, this is something the Community Care Team will be looking at growing over the coming months.
