West Arnhem Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest from qualified accountants holding current accounting certification (CPA or CA ANZ) with experience in financial management, risk management, auditing, local government or public sector management. It is also desirable that applicants reside or have previously reside in the Northern Territory.

The successful candidate will be appointed as an Independent Chairperson of Council’s Risk Management and Audit Committee for a term of three years.

The Risk Management and Audit Committee operates within the parameters of Council’s Risk Management and Audit Committee Charter and Terms of Reference.

About the Committee

An allowance is payable per meeting to Independent Members as per Class C1 of the Northern Territory Government Statutory Bodies Classified for Remuneration Purposes
