Gunbalanya youth recently had the pleasure of joining the Warddeken Ranger mob in a culture camp at Kabulwarnamyo.
This was made possible with the support by Team Health and West Arnhem Regional Council Youth, Sport and Recreation.
West Arnhem Regional Council Councillor Donna Nadjemerrek invited us to go and camp in her country and participate in the culture camp.

The young people got to see some very special sites, hear and learn from Elders stories of the land, work with rangers in fire burn-offs and also got to witness new technology such as drones that they now use to help monitor land. Young Richard, who is from that country, very proudly guided the group and shared his knowledge with youth and staff. We can safely say Kabulwarnamyo future is in great hands.
We wish to thank Councillor Donna, Mary and all family, Warddeken Rangers and all of Kabulwarnamyo for allowing us to visit and share and show us this amazing country.
