Call for community members to join your Local Authority

West Arnhem Regional Council is calling for community members to nominate for the Local Authorities in Maningrida, Minjilang and Gunbalanya.
Local Authorities play a vital role in representing their communities by providing advice to Council on local priorities, issues and projects. 
They help ensure community voices are heard and contribute to informed decision-making that reflects local needs.
Council encourages residents who are passionate about their community and interested in having a say in local matters to consider nominating.
Nomination forms are available from local Council Offices or can be downloaded online via the West Arnhem Regional Council website at westarnhem.nt.gov.au/corporate-documents.
Completed nomination forms can be submitted by returning them to the Council Services Manager at your local Council Office or by emailing governance@westarnhem.nt.gov.au.
