2025 Kakadu Triathlon set for May

The 2025 Kakadu Triathlon is set to take over the Jabiru Swimming Pool and surrounding residential roads on Saturday, 10 May 2025!
Online registrations are now open!
Known for its achievable distances, vibrant atmosphere, and community spirit, the Kakadu Triathlon welcomes participants of all ages and abilities.
Hosted by West Arnhem Regional Council, this special community event takes place at the Jabiru Pool, with the course along the township's residential roads.
In 2024, approximately 150 open and junior triathletes participated, raising over $21,117 for CareFlight. Since last year’s event, CareFlight has treated and transported more than 7,900 people in the Northern Territory.
The event program has recently expanded to include a variety of challenges, ensuring there's something for everyone:
• Open Triathlon (ages 14 and above; compete individually or in teams of 2 or 3)
- Swim: 250m
- Bike: 7.5km
- Run: 2.5km
• 5km Kakadu Run Challenge (run-only event, ages 12 and above)
• 2.5km Kakadu Challenge Walk
• 5km Kakadu Challenge Run
• Junior Triathlon (ages 13 and under, with distances based on ability)
