A great variety of traditional foods and everything culinary-related will be featured at the inaugural ‘Taste of Kakadu’ event this month. Described an as interactive food festival, A Taste of Kakadu is a 10-day event showcasing the World-Heritage listed Kakadu National Park as a place of abundance, bursting with fresh food. Run by Parks Australia in collaboration with local tourism operators and Tourism NT, the calendar of events is jam-packed with 50 experiences across 10 days with something for the whole family. Boutique dinners, campfire stories, bush tucker walks, cooking demonstrations, sunset tasting sessions, hunting and gathering talks with Traditional Owners and more.
