Australia Day

West Arnhem Regional Council encourages the community to join in the free family fun day to celebrate Australia Day. Once again being held at Jabiru's Alberto Luglietti Memorial Pool, the free family fun day will kick off at 9am and will include the local Australia Day Awards, plenty of games for the kids, inflatable pool toys, JJJ Hottest 100, thong throwing competition and a free barbecue lunch. Everyone is welcome to dress up in your best Aussie gear and bring a picnic rug for a great morning at the pool. Everyone is encouraged to head to the Jabiru Golf Club afterwards as the celebrations continue throughout the day! West Arnhem Regional Council wishes to thank the Australia Day Council Northern Territory and those who have volunteered to assist on the day.
