Lead Community Services in the Heart of Kakadu !

Join us to lead essential community programs across West Arnhem, based in the heart of Kakadu. You will guide a high-performing team in Jabiru and remote communities, build strong local partnerships, and help deliver services that respond to the needs and priorities of local people.
We are looking for an experienced senior leader with a strong background in complex program or service delivery, team leadership, budget management and stakeholder engagement. You will bring a genuine appreciation for Indigenous culture, remote community life and the importance of delivering practical, community-led outcomes.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Proven community leadership in remote West Arnhem, representing Council professionally.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant human services field, with strong legislative and compliance knowledge.
- Record of leading diverse teams and building a safe, positive and performance‑focused environment.
- Experience managing large grants, budgets, contracts and competing priorities across dispersed locations.
- Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills for diverse staff and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated HR experience in complex workplaces.
- Highly organised, adaptable and outcome‑focused, ensuring programs meet funding and compliance requirements.
What We Offer:
Salary
- Remuneration Package $157,251 - $163,541 (including base salary $137,917 - $143,433)
