PUBLIC NOTICE - Jabiru Childcare Centre Roof Repair Update

The priority works at the Jabiru Childcare Centre are now underway, marking an important step towards reopening the facility for local families.

Since funding for the repairs was confirmed, Council has been working closely with Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation – Jabiru Town and Parks Australia to coordinate and progress the works as quickly as possible.

Council understands how important the childcare service is for local families and appreciates the community’s continued patience and understanding during this challenging period.

While there is not yet a confirmed completion date, the team is working tirelessly to progress repairs as quickly and safely as possible to support the reopening of the facility and the return of full operations for the community.

Council will continue to keep the community updated as works progress.
