EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - Risk Management & Audit Committee Independent Chairperson

West Arnhem Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest for an Independent Chairperson of Council’s Risk Management and Audit Committee. 

The Chairperson will be appointed based on professional qualities and skills and they are to have at least two of the three following attributes:

  • Proven experience in finance or accounting (CPA or CA ANZ qualifications);

  • Possess knowledge of local government legislation; and/or

  • Have strong governance and/or industry risk management experience.

The Chairperson’s appointment may be up to four years, and the role’s remuneration rate and conditions are based on the C1 daily rate in the Northern Territory Statutory Bodies Classification Structure.
