Join us in a short-term role supporting upcoming programs, events, and services that strengthen everyday wellbeing across Jabiru and the wider West Arnhem communities.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant study or experience in community work, projects, or similar areas.
  • Strong community development skills, including experience in running community events.
  • Experience working with a wide range of people, including First Nations people, remote communities, and volunteer groups.
  • Clear written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality documents and reports.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills to work respectfully and sensitively with Indigenous people and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, deliver, and review projects.
  • Proven ability to analyse information, think critically, and solve problems as they arise.

What We Offer:

Salary

  • Fixed-term contract, ideal for someone interested in a short-term job (leave relief only)
  • Remuneration Package $116,089 (including salary $101,815) per year - pro rata

  • Fixed-term (short-term)' pro rata six weeks' annual leave, 17.5% leave loading, Superannuation, uniforms, Employee assistance program, 1 min drive from work to home, phone allowance, remote locality allowance.
