Upgrades to Jabiru Lake Park

The spotlight will be on the Jabiru Lake Park as the popular public area receives an exciting makeover as part of the Jabiru Beautification throughout February 2021.
The space, which is well utilised by the community and visitors to the region, will soon feature brand new playground equipment in place of the former kids play area.
To beautify the lovely park space, brightly coloured shade sails will also be installed over the barbecue facilities and playground area to provide additional shade and accommodate more patrons.
With the Jabiru Lake Park being a central location to meet and socialise, West Arnhem Regional Council hopes these upgrades continue to attract and support the families, visitors and community groups who visit the area.
Funded by the Northern Territory Government and Director of National Parks, West Arnhem Regional Council (WARC) will be rolling out specific beautification works over the next 6 months which will support local tourism and enhance the visitor experience as Jabiru transitions to a tourism economy.
