New street lighting in Maningrida

The new street light installation has commenced in Maningrida with the expected completion by end of June 2017.
The Maningrida Local Authority has funded the installation of 200 new LED street lights for the Maningrida community.
The LED lights vandal proof, provide brighter lighting and reduced operational and maintenance costs.
The lights have been welcomed by local community members, Maningrida Police and
Night Patrol as it provides additional safety for the community members while moving around the community at night.
