Minjilang Recreation Hall upgrades

Thanks to funding NT Department of Tourism and Culture (Sport & Recreation Development Division), Minjilang will receive repairs and upgrades to its recreation hall.
West Arnhem Regional Council (WARC) installed new water bubblers, bench seating, lights and industrial fans.
A new deep freezer and paint have also been purchased, which has already brightened up the rec hall.
WARC Council Service Manager in Minjilang Candice Siedler-Twine said the hall is an important facility in the community which is used on a daily basis.
“It was great to see all the youngsters getting involved in helping with painting and clean up. The recreation hall has upwards of 20 participants daily running various activities through our Sport & Recreation team – Matthew, Justin and Amelia.”
A new fridge and freezer was also purchased for the Warruwi Rec Hall.
