Lifesaving remote community course

CareFlight has relaunched its community education programs, including the remote trauma course with James Woods completing the course in Maningrida recently.
“It broadened my skills in terms of what to do in my role in the community as a worker at the clinic and also as a volunteer with emergency services, I will now feel more confident attending an accident and I will be able to use the skills I learnt in this course to achieve a good outcome for my community,” James said. 
The CareFlight team has been travelling all over the NT to ensure communities have the skills they need to save lives. We’re able to provide our Remote Trauma Course free-of-charge thanks to support from TIO - Territory Insurance Office.
