Gunbalanya youth brainstorm new ideas for centre

Youth in Gunbalanya gathered together for a pizza night recently, giving them the opportunity to voice their views and ideas on what activities could be incorporated into a new Gunbalanya Youth Centre program.
The group discussed a number of topics including opening times of the centre and how the centre can benefit the community more as well as create a youth-friendly vibe. While letting the young people’s voices be heard, it is also giving them continued ownership of their youth centre. This feedback will inform new activities, programs and events. 
A stakeholder consultation will also be taking place on September 11.
