January 19 was a special day for 10 Gunbalanya Community School students who attended their Year 12 Graduation Ceremony.
Eight of the graduates have earned their Year 12 NTCE and another two have completed secondary school with a Work Ready Pathway to work with Rangers and ILC.
They were also the first graduates in the Territory to complete their school through a remote employment pathway.
Incredibly, the school continues to have continuous number of secondary students to graduate in a remote Northern Territory Indigenous community.
The community wishes to congratulate the students and wishes them luck in their future endeavours.
Acting Education Minister Gerry McCarthy who attended the ceremony said the graduation was a positive experience to be part of.
“The community of Gunbalanya should be proud of all of its achievements,” Mr McCarthy said.
