Get ready for the 2018 Kakadu Triathlon

There are just a few days left to register for the 2018 Kakadu Triathlon which will be held in Jabiru on Saturday, 2 June.
An important fundraising event for CareFlight, the Kakadu Triathlon focuses on fun and participation across the three categories including the open triathlon and duathlon and the junior triathlon.
There has also been an exciting element added to this year’s event with Jabiru businesses and community groups invited to take part in the ‘Corporate Team Challenge’.
This is a great opportunity to get a team together from your office, community group or organisation and show your team spirit by dressing up and carrying a team mascot (e.g. a rubber duck or baton) during each leg of the open triathlon. 
There will be a prize for the team that gets most creative with their outfit and mascot.
Jabiru residents and visitors are reminded of the road closures for the event which includes all residents streets in Jabiru closed to all traffic from 6.30am to 9am. 
The duathlon course has also been changed and therefore there will be no interruptions to Arnhem Highway traffic as previously advertised. If you require emergency road access during the road closure, between 6.30am and 9am, please ring 0428 812 062.
