Exciting upgrades at Jabiru Pool

The beautification spotlight is on the Jabiru Pool during the month of May!
West Arnhem Regional Council (WARC) are proud to announce that a new shade sail will be installed at the facility - a long awaited wish for the community. 
Not only are WARC upgrading the swimming pool and shade structure, but a special splash pad will also be installed for the young ones! This provides safe pool play for babies and toddlers, in addition to the already existing toddler pool.
Last but not least, the upgrades will be complimented with new barbecue shelters and seating which visitors can utilise during operating hours.
With all of these new features, WARC hope the 50 metre Olympic sized swimming pool will become a grand attraction for Jabiru residents and tourists to Kakadu National Park. 
In order for these works to happen, the Jabiru Pool will be closed to the public from 10 May to 18 June 2021.
Residents will be able to access the gym during normal opening hours only.
