Alex is our newest Australian citizen

Congratulations to West Arnhem’s newest Australian citizen Alex Asilo who is originally from the Phillipines!
West Arnhem Regional Council Deputy Mayor Liz Williams (pictured right) officiated the special ceremony in the Jabiru Council Chambers on Friday, 25 August in front of Alex’s family.
It was a very special occasion for Alex who is the final member of their family to receive Australian citizenship.
These ceremonies are always joyous occasions and a very special thing we are able to do for residents in West Arnhem.
